How to Care for Your Wool Products
Discover how to care for your McNutt woollen and linen pieces the right way. Merino and Merino lambswool items are best dry‑cleaned, but can be gently machine washed on a wool setting at 30 °C, reshaped immediately after and never tumble dried. Linen products can be washed at 40 °C, tumble dried on low and ironed while slightly damp—but do not bleach. For blended fabrics like cashmere, alpaca or linen/wool, dry cleaning only is advised. At McNutt, we pride ourselves on crafting textiles that last a lifetime—and when repairs are needed, we’re happy to assist, even providing replacement yarn or patches when available.
